AGI Travel commenced trading as the Anthony Gomesz Initiative, an independent travel consultancy, in January 1996. As a result of its continued growth and success, it was incorporated as a limited liability company in April 2001, with the new name of AGI Travel Limited.

Meanwhile, nothing else has changed! It remains a family run business, providing a personal service to all its clients, both old and new. We measure our success by the fact that the company retains a high volume of regular clientele and our growth, to a large extent, has been due to the many referrals passed on to us by satisfied travellers since the early days.

AGI Travel acts in the capacity of a broker. We source travel services and make bookings on behalf of our clients through a network of travel providers, all of whom we use on a regular basis. As a result of this established business relationship with its travel providers, AGI Travel is in a position, most often, to negotiate a favourable price without any loss of quality. All package holidays, tailor made tours and cruises arranged through AGI Travel are ABTA, ATOL and PSA protected. All flight only tickets are bonded to the CAA through ATOL. The client's contract is with the tour operator, airline, hotel or vehicle hire company through which the travel is booked - there is no contract between AGI Travel and the client. AGI Travel does not normally charge any fee to its clients as it works solely on commissions paid by the travel providers on bookings arranged by us. However, it may occasionally be necessary to charge a fee to cover administration costs, e.g. for a large group booking. Any administration fee will be agreed with the client in advance.

AGI Travel also provides travel insurance, car hire and airport car parking if required, as well arranging visa applications.
